Serve a group order in the sequence the guests agreed

Write down the service sequence before entering the order
For a supervised training table, agree on four drinks first and four meals after a captain’s confirmation. Use your own menu and decide which member of the team gives that confirmation. Recording all dishes and asking the kitchen to prepare all dishes immediately are different decisions. Have the demonstrator explain the supported workflow; this exercise does not assume an automatic course-hold or timed-release feature.
Make the first instruction unambiguous
Enter the practice order using the demonstrated process, then ask the kitchen operator what should be prepared now. Check the table reference, item names and quantities on the actual ticket or display. If the workflow records later dishes in advance, show how staff distinguish them from the current preparation instruction. If it relies on entering a later round only when requested, practise that process instead. Do not leave the cook to infer timing from an informal comment.
Release the meal stage once, then confirm receipt
Have the captain give the agreed instruction for four meals. Check that it reaches the right kitchen position and that the first drinks are not interpreted as a new request. Ask the cook to repeat the current preparation quantity. If the captain is unsure whether the update arrived, inspect the existing order and kitchen record before sending it again. Record who handles uncertain delivery and who tells the guests about any change.
Add a late guest without restarting the whole table
In the practice scenario, a fifth guest joins after the four meals have been requested. Add one drink and one meal through the supported additional-round workflow. The expected final table quantities are five drinks and five meals. Ask the cook to identify only the new preparation needed, and ask the cashier to identify the complete final order. The table total and the newest kitchen instruction need not contain the same quantities because they answer different questions.
Review the table and the staff handoff
Before completing the training bill, compare the running order with the agreed quantities and any accepted changes. If one captain hands over to another, the replacement should be able to identify which stage was requested, which items were served and what remains unresolved using the agreed records and communication routine. Bring your group-order procedure, actual captain phone and kitchen equipment to a Madambakkam demo. DeccanPro’s software plan is ₹6,000 yearly with unlimited use and no setup fees; equipment requirements are confirmed separately.
