Leave three different orders for the next operator
Prepare an open table, a completed bill and a parcel still requiring a collection check. Ask the incoming operator to tell them apart using the demonstrated workflow. Record where a spoken handover is still needed.
Test one addition after the handover
Have the second captain add a drink to the open table. Check that the original items remain intact and the kitchen sees the new instruction. Then compare the final bill with the entire order, not only the second captain’s addition.
Close the shift with unresolved items named
Write down which orders need attention before closing and who will handle them. Ask for a demonstration of the reports or screens your team intends to use. Keep the acceptance check tied to actual restaurant responsibilities rather than an assumed reporting feature.
