YOUR RESTAURANT · YOUR PART OF CHENNAI

Restaurant billing software in Ambattur.

For an Ambattur restaurant serving meals at the counter, a useful POS demo starts with similar-looking orders. Test a dine-in meal, a parcel meal and an additional side dish together, then check that the cashier, kitchen and packing team all understand the same quantities.

Make meal portions and parcel counts unmistakable

TANSIDCO lists Ambattur Industrial Estate in Chennai. Its industrial setting inspires this page’s original illustration. This guide uses a meal-counter exercise you can adapt to your restaurant; it does not assume factory contracts, customer volumes or a particular menu. Share your restaurant’s street and entrance when arranging an on-site demo.

Local reference: TANSIDCO: official industrial-estate directory. Use the restaurant exercises below with your own menu.

Name the portion before testing the price

Write down exactly what one meal includes in your restaurant: the rice portion, included sides and any separately charged additions. Review the menu labels with the cashier and packer. If dine-in and takeaway portions or prices differ, demonstrate how the intended setup distinguishes them. Do not use a vague “meals” label for two different products and expect the kitchen to infer the difference from a spoken instruction. Start with three clearly defined sample items before importing a larger menu.

Create three orders that could be confused

Enter one dine-in meal, two parcel meals under a separate order, and one parcel meal with an extra side under a third reference. Ask a second member of staff to read the kitchen instructions without hearing the original conversation. They should identify which order belongs to the table and which two belong at packing. Use your existing collection method during the exercise. If you need token displays or automatic customer calls, ask to see that exact requirement rather than assuming it from the presence of voice announcements.

Count the food, then count the packages

For the order containing two parcel meals, list the containers required by your actual packing method. Check meal quantity separately from container quantity: several containers may belong to one meal. Keep the extra side with its own order reference. Before handing over a bag, the packer and collector should compare the reference and item count, not just recognise the bag’s appearance. Mark the exercise complete only when the correct order reaches the correct collection point.

Handle a portion correction before collection

Change one uncollected parcel order from two meals to one in a supervised practice run. Ask the operator to show the supported correction and explain it to the kitchen and packer. Compare the updated order with any earlier paper copy so that both quantities are not prepared. Check the final amount using your own menu price. Where food has already been prepared or payment already received, agree the restaurant’s responsibility and approved process before applying a correction during real service.

Keep the first launch small and measurable

Begin your acceptance check with these three orders and note every point where somebody needs extra explanation. Resolve ambiguous item names before extending the menu. Bring a sample receipt, printer model and a list of the people who take, prepare and pack orders. Restaurant billing, captain mobile, KOT printing and kitchen display can be explored in the DeccanPro demo. The flat software offer is ₹6,000 per year, with unlimited use and no setup fees; confirm equipment needs separately.
