Check a dining room from every captain position
Anna Tower, in Dr. Visvesvaraya Tower Park, is one of Anna Nagar’s distinctive landmarks. Greater Chennai Corporation lists the park in its city directory. The tower inspires this page’s artwork; for a restaurant visit, share your block, street and entrance so our Chintadripet team can plan the right meeting point.

Number the tables as your staff actually use them
Prepare a simple floor sketch with the names or numbers already used in service. Mark any upstairs room, outdoor seating or separate section that you operate. During the demo, ask a captain to find a table without the owner pointing to it. Similar labels such as A1 and A11 deserve an explicit check before a busy shift.
Walk the captain phone to the furthest seat
Enter a sample order beside the counter, then repeat from the furthest table and any separate floor. Check when the kitchen receives it and what the phone shows if connectivity is interrupted. Do not infer coverage from the Wi-Fi icon. A successful order from every intended service position is a more useful acceptance check.
Test a second round before closing the table
Order starters, send them to the kitchen, then add mains and a drink. Compare each kitchen instruction with the accumulated bill. Ask the cashier to locate the same table while the captain is away from the counter. If your staff regularly change tables or share bills, demonstrate your exact practice and confirm the supported steps before deciding on a rollout.
Make the handover work for the next captain
Use the rehearsal to decide who owns an open table during a shift change. Have the incoming captain identify what has already been ordered and what still needs staff confirmation. Pair this exercise with a kitchen acknowledgement check so a spoken announcement is not assumed to mean preparation is complete.
