Separate meals, side dishes and takeaway parcels
Parthasarathy Temple is one of Triplicane’s recognised landmarks. The illustration is a neighbourhood reference, not a claim of a shop inside the temple precinct. Send your restaurant street and delivery entrance when arranging a visit from our Chennai team.
Local reference: Chennai district: places of interest. Use the restaurant exercises below with your own menu.
Distinguish the meal from its additions
Enter two meals, one separately charged side and a second round of an item. Ask the operator to explain which entries are part of the original meal and which affect the bill. Use the real menu rules of your restaurant; the software should be demonstrated against those rules.
Give parcels a separate reference
Simulate a parcel customer arriving while a table is still ordering. Print or display both kitchen instructions and ask the packing person to find the parcel without relying on the customer’s position in the queue. Check the final handover against its bill, especially when two orders contain the same dishes.
Check a changed quantity before cooking
Reduce a sample side-dish quantity after the first instruction. Confirm the corrected information reaches the person preparing it and that the final bill reflects the change. A verbal message alone can be missed; decide how the kitchen acknowledges a correction during service.
Prepare your Triplicane demo
- Meal inclusions and paid extras written separately
- A simultaneous table and parcel example
- A quantity correction reaching the kitchen
- A clear collection reference
