Restaurant billing software in Chepauk.

For a Chepauk restaurant, a cricket-day service plan should begin with your own order evidence. Six bills can mean six snacks or a much larger kitchen workload. In your local billing demo, compare two small sets of sample orders and check which dishes—not just how many bills—each set contains.

Compare the menu mix across two event-day service windows

M. A. Chidambaram Stadium is a recognisable Chepauk landmark; the official IPL venue page places it on Victoria Hostel Road. Our original cricket-ground illustration is symbolic, not a venue map or an affiliation with the stadium, a team or a tournament. When arranging a restaurant visit, share your own street and entrance. Confirm access and a suitable meeting time with our Chennai team rather than using a stadium gate as the restaurant address. An event may change your service pattern, but this guide does not predict footfall or publish a match schedule.

Local reference: Official IPL: M. A. Chidambaram Stadium address. Use the restaurant exercises below with your own menu.

Define two comparable windows before collecting numbers

Choose two equal observation windows that make sense for your restaurant, such as the hour before an event and an hour of later service. Record the actual start and end times, available menu, staffing and any items unavailable during either window. Use dates and times from your own operation; do not treat a fixture start time as evidence of when your guests will arrive. For the software demonstration, use the fictional sample sets below outside live service.

Build a small early-service sample

Set A contains three saved practice bills. A1 has two meals at Rs.120 each: Rs.240. A2 has one meal and two coffees at Rs.25 each: Rs.170. A3 has four coffees: Rs.100. The set therefore contains three meals and six coffees, with an item subtotal of Rs.510. These are invented training prices and final item amounts with no extra tax, discount, return or unpaid balance. Retain the three references and check each item quantity.

Compare later service without confusing bills and dishes

Set B also contains three bills. B1 has four meals: Rs.480. B2 has three meals and two coffees: Rs.410. B3 has two coffees: Rs.50. Its subtotal is Rs.940, from seven meals and four coffees. Bill count is unchanged, but meal quantity rises from three to seven while coffee quantity falls from six to four. Across both sets there are ten meals and ten coffees, totalling Rs.1,450. The example shows why an unchanged bill count does not establish an unchanged preparation workload.

Trace the records through the report you will actually use

Ask the demonstrator to find the sample item quantities in DeccanPro reporting and show the selected date, branch and grouping. Keep the A and B reference lists beside the report. If the available screen cannot isolate your chosen hour, compare the identified saved records in a worksheet instead; do not assume an hourly filter or event tag exists. An edited bill can also move between reporting periods depending on the date basis. Demonstrate that separately rather than silently including changed records in this clean example.

Turn the difference into one measured service change

For the fictional later set, ask the kitchen how seven meals and four coffees travel through preparation and collection. Observe which step causes waiting before changing staffing, packing space or the menu. Repeat a supervised trial after one change and note what happened. This arithmetic is not a demand forecast, a food-production quantity recommendation or proof of POS throughput. Base actual preparation and staffing decisions on several comparable services, your safe operating procedures and what your team observed.

Bring a useful Chepauk demo brief

Bring an anonymised menu, two sample service windows, the cashier and kitchen roles, and the report or notebook currently used to review service. Include sold-out items and changes in opening hours when interpreting real comparisons. Arrange an onsite demonstration at your restaurant by sharing its complete address and a time that avoids your busy service. DeccanPro visits customer locations by arrangement; this page does not represent an office or installed customer at the stadium.

Prepare your Chepauk demo

  • Two equal service windows recorded
  • Three saved practice references in each set
  • Set A: three meals, six coffees, Rs.510
  • Set B: seven meals, four coffees, Rs.940
  • Same bill count distinguished from changing dish quantities
  • Report date basis and available filters demonstrated
  • One observed service change reviewed before wider rollout
