Check a set meal from the menu board to the kitchen and bill
S.I.V.E.T. College lists its address on Velachery Main Road in Gowrivakkam, Chennai. It is a useful local reference when explaining where your restaurant operates; it is not a DeccanPro customer claim or an institutional endorsement. The campus-street artwork is an original symbolic illustration, not a photograph of the college. When arranging a visit, send your own entrance and map pin, along with the set-meal menu you want to test.

Define what one set includes before configuring it
Write a short recipe for the sale, not a stock deduction rule: one lunch set includes one meals portion and one buttermilk. For this fictional training exercise, price the set at Rs.120 and an additional buttermilk at Rs.20. Agree the serving quantities and customer-facing description. Use your actual restaurant prices during the demo. This guide does not assume automatic combo expansion, recipe inventory or a particular bundle editor; ask which supported configuration makes the contents clear to staff.
Enter two sets and compare three views
Create a supervised unpaid training order for two lunch sets. The expected item subtotal is Rs.240 before tax or other configured adjustments. Read the cashier view, kitchen instruction and customer bill together. The kitchen must understand two meals portions and two included buttermilks. A ticket that only says two lunch sets needs a clear, agreed preparation reference; do not assume the cook can infer the contents from a shortened name. Confirm whether the chosen setup prints components or relies on your documented set definition.
Add one extra drink without charging for included drinks again
Add one separately purchased buttermilk to the same order. The intended total is two meals portions and three buttermilks, but the charge is two sets plus one extra drink: Rs.260 before adjustments. Check that included drinks have not become chargeable extras and that the kitchen understands the new instruction is one additional drink. Keep the original order and any later ticket together during the rehearsal. A second ticket may show only the change, not the complete meal count.
Rehearse a request to omit an included item
Start a separate training order and ask for one set without its buttermilk. The kitchen instruction and the restaurant pricing policy must both be clear. If your policy keeps the set price at Rs.120, the bill should not silently subtract Rs.20 just because an extra drink is sold at that price. If you offer a different meal or an approved adjustment, demonstrate that supported path instead. Confirm the request with the kitchen before preparation and record the final agreed contents; do not assume automatic substitution or price allocation.
Finish with a handoff that another person can explain
Return to the two-set plus extra-drink example. Ask a second staff member to identify the order, explain why three drinks are served but only one drink is separately charged, and read the final subtotal of Rs.260. Inspect any packaging, taxes or other configured lines separately. Keep unresolved menu wording, kitchen quantities and bill differences on the demo checklist. For an on-site Gowrivakkam visit, have your actual menu board, printer or display and staff member available so the same exercise can be repeated on the intended setup.
