Help a new captain learn the floor
The Adyar river gives this part of Chennai a strong geographic identity. A stylised river bridge anchors the artwork. Share the restaurant’s side of the area, complete address and entrance landmark so the visit can be planned around the correct location.

Teach one complete order before shortcuts
Give a new operator a simple three-item order and one table number. Let them find the table, enter dishes and send the kitchen instruction. Observe where an explanation is needed. Use that sequence as the basis of a short staff training note.
Test the least convenient seat
Walk the captain phone to a corner, separate room or other actual service position away from the counter. Enter a new item and check that it reaches the kitchen. If there is a delay or connection problem, record where it occurred before deciding on equipment placement.
Rehearse a correction without rushing
Ask the operator to correct a sample dish and then explain the result to the cook. Check the final bill as well. Training should include a recovery step, not just the perfect order, so that a new captain knows when to stop and ask for help.
