A cafe menu that stays readable as it grows
Valluvar Kottam’s stone chariot is the local inspiration for this page. Chennai district documents the memorial and its distinctive chariot architecture. Tell us your cafe’s street, floor and available counter space when arranging the demo.

Group the menu around how staff search
Bring ten frequently sold items and five less common ones. Ask a staff member to enter an order using the proposed menu arrangement. Record which names or groups cause hesitation. Clear naming is usually more useful than reproducing every decorative heading from a printed menu.
Show the exact size or version ordered
If you sell different drink sizes, enter one of each and compare the kitchen instruction with the customer bill. Ask how your required options are configured and demonstrated; do not assume an arbitrary modifier system. The person preparing the drink should not need to guess what “regular” means.
Handle a snack arriving after the coffee
Add a food item to the same open table after its drinks have been ordered. Check the running bill and new kitchen instruction. If payment happens before preparation at your cafe, demonstrate that alternative sequence too and choose the routine your team can repeat reliably.
