DECCANPRO — RESTAURANT KOT PRINTER ACCEPTANCE WORKSHEET Guide: https://deccanpro.com/guides/kot-printer-setup-checklist/ Use fictional training orders outside live service with the installer present. These are suggested acceptance checks, not a promise of a particular printer, ticket layout, cancellation format or automatic duplicate protection. Do not prepare food for this exercise. Use the supported training procedure. 1. IDENTIFY THE SETUP Date / restaurant area: Person running the test / kitchen reader: Printer make / full model and interface variant: Actual connection used / connected computer or server: Printer location / paper width / configured layout: Application version or installation reference, if available: Training order reference: Expected destination: Keep reference and evidence free of customer names and phone numbers. 2. FIRST TICKET — READ IT WITHOUT THE COUNTER PROMPTING Enter these fictional items using your supervised test menu: 2 Onion Rava Masala Dosa 12 Mini Idli Plates 1 Filter Coffee Expected: three item lines; 15 total units, not 15 different dishes. Reader's observed items and quantities: Can a wrapped dosa name be mistaken for an extra item? Yes / No / Unclear Can the reader distinguish quantities 2, 12 and 1? Yes / No / Unclear Order/table reference visible and matches saved order? Yes / No / Unclear Correct kitchen received it? Yes / No / Unclear Does each needed station receive only its intended instruction? Record the demonstrated setup; do not assume multi-printer routing exists. Observed destination(s): Sample identifier / photo of training ticket: 3. ONE ADDITION — PRESERVE THE FIRST RESULT Add one Filter Coffee to that same saved training order. Expected current order: 2 dosas, 12 idli plates, 2 coffees = 16 units. The new preparation instruction is ONE additional coffee, not two new coffees. Does the installation print only the addition, or the complete current order? Observed ticket wording / quantities / reference: Kitchen reader states what is new: Can staff distinguish this update from the first copy? Yes / No / Unclear If unclear, mark unresolved; do not infer meaning from paper arrival order. 4. ONE CANCELLATION — USE THE DEMONSTRATED PROCEDURE From the same training order, reduce Mini Idli Plates from 12 to 11. Expected current order: 2 dosas, 11 idli plates, 2 coffees = 15 units. Expected change: one fewer idli plate. No new food is ordered by this change. Where is the change shown: ticket / screen / agreed staff handoff / other? Observed output and order reference: Kitchen reader states the revised quantity and acknowledges the reduction: Unresolved limitation or manual step: 5. COPY CHECK — A COPY IS NOT ANOTHER ORDER Ask the installer to show the supported inspection/reprint procedure. First confirm what the kitchen has already received. Do not repeatedly send. Does a replacement copy identify itself? Record what is actually shown: Who tells the kitchen that this represents existing work? Does the saved order remain 2 dosas, 11 idli plates, 2 coffees? Yes / No / Unclear If a reprint cannot be demonstrated safely, mark NOT TESTED. 6. RECORD THE DECISION Check Result (pass/fail/not tested) Evidence Exact equipment identified: Text and quantities readable: Correct destination: Addition understood: Cancellation understood: Copy handled as existing work: Any failed or untested required step keeps this setup unresolved. Issue / responsible person / agreed next action: Retest date / same menu and layout used: Retest evidence / remaining limitations: Decision: accepted for the demonstrated workflow / unresolved Keep the original failed sample alongside the retest. If you compare paper widths or layouts, use separately configured equipment as advised by its manufacturer. Record each sample's settings; do not change several variables and then attribute the improvement to paper width alone. Software: Rs.6,000/year, unlimited use, no setup or hidden software fees. Equipment and third-party services are separate. Confirm actual compatibility. Chennai demonstrations: https://deccanpro.com/contact/#demo
